Brand Architecture

Viskat Productions is Alice Viskat’s independent theatre company, making sharp, offbeat work across Cape Town and the international fringe circuit, from Edinburgh to Camden. Her productions – including Flughaven, Black Mouse and F*ck, Marry, Kill – sit somewhere between dark comedy, psychological drama and the beautifully weird, always led by strong characters and a point of view.

Strategy

We built Viskat a visual identity that’s clean enough to scale and weird enough to feel like her. A pared-back Helvetica wordmark is paired with a simple illustrated cat, proudly holding the fish it just caught. The system gives the company a recognizable visual signature, while leaving plenty of room for each production – from Flughaven to Black Mouse and Fck, Marry, Kill* – to have its own world.
